Project Execution and Progress:
EHO is thrilled to share the latest progress on our special project for Eritrean refugees in Elshadai Camp, Tigray.
On June 17, 2024, EHO successfully constructed new tents for vulnerable Eritrean refugees in Elshadai Camp. This initiative was carried out promptly in response to urgent requests and the approaching summer and rainy season in Ethiopia, which threatened to bring disease and discomfort, especially to vulnerable children and mothers without alternative shelter.
The new tents have given shelter and home to over 120 people, providing much-needed safe shelter. Eritrean refugees have expressed profound gratitude for EHO’s timely intervention, significantly improving their living conditions and bringing much-needed relief.
We highly recommend watching the 20-minute report and testimonials from our fellow Eritrean refugees in Tigray. This compelling video showcases the profound impact of EHO’s efforts and underscores the deeply gratifying nature of our work.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners and donors for their unwavering support and commitment to our mission. Your contributions have made this vital project possible and continue to make a significant difference in the lives of many.
EHO,
